Together in Matson team invest in workplace wellbeing

We were delighted to receive a range of feedback about our Small Grants for Workplace Wellbeing Fund. One of the grant recipients, Together in Matson, prioritised five activities to invest in and learned a lot about each other along the way.

The teams journey began with a local quiz and was followed by painting in a pub and a show at The Everyman Theatre. Post funding, the team continue to enjoy a range of out of work activities together - they've even set up a WhatsApp group!

Vanessa Worrall (Project Manager) fedback: "We did a lot of laughing with and at each other – it was fine to do that – we had made a safe space and learnt a lot about each other including things that we found difficult in life and how we may react negatively and may need some support and understanding from the rest of the team".

We were delighted to receive Vanessa's feedback, and feedback from other groups & organisations that benefitted from the Fund. We also spotted a range of posts on social media which were great to read.

About our Small Grants for Workplace Wellbeing Fund

Our Small Grants for Workplace Wellbeing Fund was designed to enable VCSE sector groups & organisations to implement ideas that support employee and/or volunteer wellbeing. We accepted a wide variety of proposals, provided there is a clear rationale for how the proposal is linked to wellbeing. Groups & organisations were able to apply for up to £500. This funding was made available thanks to funding from NHS Charities Together.
