Hosted Projects
We offer a range of back office and wider support for charities, community groups and social enterprises in Gloucestershire.
The type of support provided is dependent on the need of the organisation and we have often supported organisations for a short term period, until a time that they are able to run independently.
Go Volunteer Glos
Go Volunteer Glos is the digital home of volunteering in Gloucestershire. It's an online platform that enables organisations across Gloucestershire to promote and showcase their volunteering vacancies to thousands of potential volunteers in the county.
We host and manage Go Volunteer Glos. We also chair the Gloucestershire Volunteering Collaborative. The Collaborative is a group of representatives from the local VCSE sector, health, local government, employers and employees, police, and fire services, along with volunteers themselves, working together strategically to improve the way volunteering works in the county.
Feeding Gloucestershire
Feeding Gloucestershire aims to empower people to eat well, live well and feel connected. Its mission is for "everyone in Gloucestershire to have equal access and choice of a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food always". Feeding Gloucestershire is committed to identifying critical gaps in food provision, listening to conversations with communities around the county, working collaboratively and openly and creating positive change that benefits those most at risk of food inequality.
We've been hosting Feeding Gloucestershire since August 2024 and provide a range of back office support, including support with governance marketing & communications, financial management and HR. You can get in contact with the Feeding Gloucestershire team by emailing
Joanna Scott, Programme Director
I understand that for any newly formed charity such as Feeding Gloucestershire, it is vital to prioritise and plan a sound financial model with a sustainable level of overheads and funding. We enjoy the full membership benefits Gloucestershire VCSE Alliance provide but we are also excited to be piloting a bespoke package of ‘back- office’ administrative support as well as , strategic and other specialist advice which we can turn ‘up or down’ or ‘on and off’ as we need. This flexible ‘resource’ provides Trustees, commissioners, and grant funding partners the assurance that we are well governed and receive the right support whether finance, IT, HR, or other specialist advice when we need it. This enables us to keep our core staff costs streamlined and means a greater proportion of our funding is prioritised on project implementation and impact rather than overheads, but without compromising quality of delivery.
Join us
Our members work together to make lasting, positive change within local communities. Membership is free for VCSE and statutory organisations delivering services in Gloucestershire. By joining us, local organisations become part of a wider community and are able to access a range of enhanced benefits above and beyond our usual fully-funded support. You can find out more on our membership page.
Work with us
We're always looking for new ways to collaborate and work in partnership with colleagues from the VCSE and statutory sectors, as well as local business. If you're interested in working with us and would like to explore this in more detail, please
