City & Guilds Foundation Local Community Skills Fund

Funding amount and term: up to £10,000, but most grants will be around £6,000.
Funding for: supporting people aged 16 and over who are facing barriers.
Who can apply: registered charities, social enterprises, colleges, FE providers and other City & Guilds customers, plus individuals and community groups – see further criteria in web link above.
Funding priorities: funding innovative local and community-led projects that may not be eligible for traditional funding sources and supporting projects that address specific skill gaps.
Any other information: eligible projects include setting up community gardens, running digital skills workshops, and providing training programmes that help disadvantaged individuals develop the skills needed to secure employment.
