Today marks the beginning of Trustees' Week and we're encouraging VCSE sector groups & organisations across the county to join us to celebrate the difference trustees make within Gloucestershire. We have a range of free events running throughout the week and will be sharing links to online resources, stories from the sector and more on our social media accounts.

If you can't attend one of our events, here's some ideas about how you can get involved online:

Free training is being offered to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector partners working with people with mental health needs in Gloucestershire.

The course is designed to develop mental health crisis care awareness and aims to build on your experience and knowledge of working with people presenting with mental health problems in crisis.

Gloucester City Council’s Outdoor Events Fund is an annual funding pot of £50,000 which provides grants between £10,000 - £15,000 to organisations or individuals holding an event in Gloucester.

It is designed to endorse events and enable applicants to leverage in income from other sources (including from funding bodies such as Awards for All and Arts Council England, crowdfunding, philanthropy, sponsorship, and ticket sales revenue).

Our team has planned a spectacular Trustees' Week celebration and we're inviting VCSE sector groups & organisations across Gloucestershire to join us.

Trustees' Week runs from 6 - 10 November this year. Find out more about what's coming up below:

NAVCA has created a resource bank to help public sector organisations to embed the VCSE sector into Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) across the country.

These resources feature our slide deck about how the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Gloucestershire was developed by the local VCSE sector and One Gloucestershire ICS.

We're delighted to announce the launch our 6 month (fully funded) leadership, enterprise and professional development programme for VCSE sector groups & organisations in Gloucestershire.

Building on the success of our summer 2023 programme, Gloucestershire VCS Alliance continues to develop the skills and opportunities for the sector. Our latest innovative programme for 2024 recognises the need to become sustainable and specifically the role leadership plays in this.

South West HM Prison and Probation service are inviting groups/organisations to apply for small pots of money to support people on the Integrated Offender Management Scheme and People on Probation at points where they would benefit from a rapid response from community-based organisations.
