As Volunteers' Week comes to a close this year, our team would like to say a massive thank you to all of the individuals that volunteer in Gloucestershire.
Here's a special message from our CEO, Matt Lennard...
"This Volunteers’ Week, we extend our deepest thanks to the incredible volunteers across Gloucestershire. Your commitment, generosity, and spirit of service are the driving force behind so much of what makes our communities strong, resilient, and compassionate.
From supporting local events and running vital services, to offering friendship, expertise, and practical help where it’s needed most - you bring people together and create lasting impact every day. We are proud to celebrate your contributions and truly grateful for all that you do to make Gloucestershire a better place for everyone".
We'd also like to send a huge shout out to all of the amazing orgs that support volunteers across the county. It's an absolute pleasure to work with and support charities, community groups and social enterprises in Gloucestershire and we hope you all had a lovely Volunteers' Week.
About Volunteers' Week
Volunteers’ Week is campaign that runs throughout the UK during the first week of June each year. It's a time when organisations are encouraged to celebrate the contributions of their volunteers (including your trustees of course!). Volunteers' Week has been running for over 40 years and is a really great campaign to utilise if you'd like to thank current and past volunteers for their much-valued time, commitment and dedication to your organisation.
