Funding for: organisations supporting research into learning disability and the care and relief of those affected by learning disability.
Who can apply: schools, Parent Teacher Associations, registered charities, community benefit societies.
Funding priorities: learning disabilities (intellectual disabilities), with or without autism, including projects for children or adults.

Barchester's Charitable Foundation
Funding amount and term: between £100 and £2,500.
Funding for: supporting projects that reduce loneliness amongst older people (65+) and adults with a disability (18+).
Who can apply: community health professionals, community groups and small registered charities that combat isolation and loneliness and enable older people and adults with disabilities to be active and engaged.
Funding priorities: activity projects, equipment and materials for target audiences, transport and day trips or group holidays in the UK.

Barnwood Trust Small Grants Funding
Funding amount and term: up to £10,000 for time-limited work.
Funding for: disabled people and people with mental health in Gloucestershire.
Who can apply: charities, educational establishments or groups. If your organisation has been constituted for less than two years, or if your organisation or group is not formally constituted, this is the funding programme for you.
Funding priorities: projects must support Barnwood Trust’s vision.

Gloucestershire Community Foundation Main Grants Programme
Funding amount and term:from £1,000 up to £10,000.
Funding for: initiatives supporting disadvantaged or isolated people.
Who can apply: organisations working with people disadvantaged because of poverty, disability, age, location or culture.
Funding priorities:as above.

Gloucestershire Disability Fund
Funding amount and term: up to £1,000 for individuals and £2,500 for organisations.
Funding for: people of any age with a special or exceptional need arising from having a disability to help them navigate life’s challenges.
Who can apply: charitable non-profit organisations or groups supporting people living with a physical, sensory or learning disability.
Funding priorities: as above.
Any other information: all applications for disability equipment must be supported by an assessment of need and suitability prepared by a qualified education, health or social care professional.

The Denham Charitable Trust
Funding amount and term:on average £2,000.
Funding for:supporting smaller or new charities to be more sustainable and to appeal for new facilities or activities.
Who can apply:small local charities in South Gloucestershire.
Funding priorities:supporting homelessness, poverty, health and disability across all ages.
