The heart of Gloucestershire’s communities are to be celebrated at the highly anticipated Gloucestershire's Volunteer Awards, held at the Growth Hub in Gloucester on Thursday 6 June.

Organised by Go Volunteer Glos, in collaboration with Charlie’s Cancer Support and the Gloucestershire VCS Alliance, the event will honour the outstanding contributions of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to make a positive impact across the county.

Each quarter, we send out a newsletter on behalf of the Gloucestershire VCSE Strategic Partnership.

Our newsletter contains updates about how the VCSE sector in Gloucestershire is working in partnership with the public sector and a range of agencies for the benefit of local communities.

We're delighted to announce that 18 local VCSE sector groups & organisations in Gloucestershire have been awarded grants totalling £300k for projects which support mental health in the county.

These grants we're provided by Gloucestershire VCS Alliance and Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC) as part of the Community Mental Health Transformation (CMHT) programme in the county.
