Our team has planned a spectacular Trustees' Week celebration and we're inviting VCSE sector groups & organisations across Gloucestershire to join us.

Trustees' Week runs from 6 - 10 November this year. Find out more about what's coming up below:

Monday 6 November: Festival of Trusteeship - 50% member discount

Our partner, Getting OnBoard is running their annual Festival of Trusteeship in conjunction with Trustees' Week this year. They have over 20 sessions planned over five days which are split into four strands to help your trustees develop specific areas of their trustee practice. Whether your trustees are just getting started on their trustee journey or have been a serial trustee for years there’s something for everyone.

The strands are:

  • Aspiring Trustees
  • Good Governance
  • Recruitment
  • Thought Leadership

It’s never been more important for trustees to deliver value to their charities and mission via their board work. Getting OnBoard has advised us that the best way to make the most of the festival is with a weekly pass. The weekly pass will give you access to all of their events during the week, as well as access to the recordings and accompanying session information.

You can buy a weekly pass for £25. Other events are £5 each and events for aspiring trustees are free of charge. Getting on Board has given us a 50% off code for our members to use at the Eventbrite checkout. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. Please note: VCSE sector groups & organisations delivering services in Gloucestershire can become a member of the Gloucestershire VCS Alliance for free. It's quick and easy to join and more information is available on our membership page.
