We provide training for healthcare professionals and education on cancer prevention and healthy lifestyles for the general public.

We believe everyone should have access to the best medical imaging for their diagnosis. We are a charity that invests in equipment, research and education to help this happen.

The Charity, was founded over 50 years ago by Dr Fred Hanna, who launched a public appeal to build a Cobalt Unit in Cheltenham.

We support patients with cancer, dementia and other conditions. Our sophisticated and innovative scanning equipment uses the latest technology.

We contribute and provide funding for research, which leads to a greater understand of disease, predominantly cancer and dementia.

Cobalt supports the needs of patients locally and nationally through our specialist Imaging Centres in Cheltenham and Birmingham and through a fleet of mobile MRI scanners.
