Second Step would like to coordinate a consortium bid to deliver the upcoming Community Advice, Links, and Mental Health Service (CALMHS). Rethink Mental Illness are considering submitting a partnership bid for the upcoming CALMHS tender in Gloucestershire and are hosting a discussion.

The way Gloucestershire County Council requests professional services to support the interventions of children’s social care is moving towards a framework (the “Access to Resources Framework”).

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team and support the growth of Go Volunteer Glos across the county.

It's an exciting time for Go Volunteer Glos (GVG) as we continue to offer a growing level of support to groups & organisations in Gloucestershire looking for volunteers. Our Project Support Officer will work closely with our GVG Manager to help build on the success of the platform. 

We're pleased to announce that free mental health & wellbeing support via The Wellbeing Line is now available for all VCSE sector groups & organisation's across Gloucestershire as of today. 

After a successful 6 month pilot, The Wellbeing Line can now be accessed directly by VCSE sector groups & organisations across the county via their free telephone line. No prior application is required - please spread the word throughout the sector so that anyone needing support can contact The Wellbeing Line if they need to.

We're pleased to welcome the Community Mental Health Transformation Grant to Gloucestershire! The £100,000 fund is now open to applications from VCSE sector groups & organisations supporting Gloucestershire adults who are experiencing serious mental ill-health.

NHS England South West Health and Justice is currently in the engagement phase of a re-tendering process to create five Integrated Non-Custodial Services (one per police force boundary) from April 2025.
