Gloucestershire VCS Alliance has secured funding from NHS England to improve partnership working between the sector and the Health and Care sector known now as the Integrated Care System.  Gloucestershire is one of a number of areas that has been piloting this approach.  It is recognised that the VCSE sector provides a strategic voice and is critical in the delivery of integrated and personalised care and helping to reduce health inequalities.

The Alliance now has two vacancies:

Integrated Care Officer

22hrs per week, £22,000-£25,000 pro rata.

One of the key objectives of the VCS Alliance is to support the VCSE to engage effectively with statutory organisations and ensure that the sector has an influential voice in the planning, development and delivery of services in the county.

The purpose of this role is to focus on improving co-ordination, thereby strengthening the contribution of the sector overall.

The post holder will be responsible for developing relationships at a grassroots/neighbourhood level and creating the conditions for effective partnership working between the VCSE and the wider care services.

Project Management Consultant with health and/or social care experience

The VCS Alliance is seeking a qualified Project Management Consultant with experience of working at a senior level in health and/or social care, to support the delivery of a NHS-led initiative called the VCSE Leadership Programme.

The programme aims to facilitate better partnership working between statutory health and social care providers and the VCSE sector, in order to enhance the role of the latter in strategy development and the design and delivery of a fully integrated care system.

The purpose of this role is to represent the VCSE effectively at a senior level with the care system in Gloucestershire, ensuring that the sector is an equal partner in designing, implementing and delivering care services.

We anticipate this work taking around 2 days per week and lasting around 12 months.
