Thirty Percy: Gloucestershire place-based funding initiative

Thirty Percy, an independent charitable foundation, is inviting proposals for the first phase of their new Gloucestershire place-based funding initiative. It is hoped that a greater impact can be achieved by concentrating funding, knowledge and expertise in one location.

They have spent the best part of nine months visiting Gloucestershire talking to a diverse range of people to gain a better understanding of the local community need, relationship building and, most importantly, understanding how they can help.

The focus for this first phase of work will be:

  • supporting young people as active citizens” and
  • cultivating food security”.

The Foundation will make its first round of strategic grants in September 2020, allocating a total budget of £3m to grants that are between 1-3 years in duration.
