Membership

Membership of the Alliance is open to any registered charity, voluntary and community organisation operating in Gloucestershire, there isn’t any application, it’s open to all and is free of charge. If your organisation has signed up to hear from the Alliance either by receiving our newsletter, funding bulletin or at events, you are automatically a member.

Engagement sessions

The Alliance runs 1:1 engagement sessions in each district across the county to engage with as many VCSE organisations as possible.

We know that many VCSE organisations are small and lack the time and resources to attend meetings that are invariably held in Gloucester or Cheltenham. We want to offer you the opportunity to talk direct to us about what issues are important to you and whether there are any messages you would like us to feedback to Commissioners. To read more about our engagement sessions and find out how to come along, take a look here.

Newsletter sign up

We want to keep you informed about the work of the VCS in Gloucestershire. Whether it’s an event or funding stream, a new commissioning opportunity or a change in policy we want to keep you as up to date as possible. We do this through our regular e-newsletter. Click here to sign up…

Funding bulletin

We produce the Funding Bulletin on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council. The bulletin provides information on key funding opportunities available in Gloucestershire. Because of how we receive some of the bulletin content, this service is only available for organisations that are based in and operate in Gloucestershire. For email alerts, click here to sign up…

Our forums

The Alliance has runs forums which occasionally met to provide information and debate issues with organisations working in a similar field. For now we hold mailing lists which we may use from time to time to send relevant, targeted news on Health and Wellbeing and Stronger Safer Communities.  Please contact us if you would like to be kept up to date, specifying which forum you are interested in.

Occasional emails

Our newsletter is our main form of communication with our members. From time to time we may send emails on subjects of interest to the VCSE in Gloucestershire to those who have said they are happy for us to communicate with them in this way.  Please contact us if you would like to receive occasional emails from us.

Twitter

Follow us on Twitter to keep up to date about what we’re doing. We want our Twitter feed to be representative of the VCS in Gloucestershire, so please follow us and we’ll follow you back. Follow us…
