Hollie Gazzard Trust

The Trust was created following the murder of 20-year-old Hollie Gazzard in 2014 by an ex-partner. HGT helps reduce domestic violence through creating and delivering programmes on domestic abuse and promoting healthy relationships to schools and colleges.

The Hollie Gazzard Trust also campaigns to reduce anti-social behaviour and knife crime.

The ultimate aim of the Trust is to positively change the lives of young people through partnerships in communities, as well as working alongside other charities and professional agencies.

The Hollie Gazzard Trust has launched a new and improved version of Hollie Guard; a free app named after Hollie which turns your smartphone into an advanced personal safety device.

Originally launched in 2015, Hollie Guard is suitable for all and is used daily by thousands of subscribers. With Hollie Guard, if ever you feel threatened, you can send out an alert by either shaking or tapping your phone. Once you activate an alert, your location along with video and audio evidence is automatically sent to your emergency contacts.

In response to feedback, the Trust has recently updated Hollie Guard with improved functionality and operational efficiency, including in-app registration and a new report facility. The App is available on operating systems: Apple and Android. For more information please visit the website https://www.hollieguard.com/.
