Conflict between parents - whether together or separated - can have a significant impact on children’s mental health and long-term life chances. Not all conflict is damaging, but where it is frequent, intense and poorly resolved it can harm children’s outcomes.

Parents’ Relationships Matter Gloucestershire campaign is now launching across the county.

In support of this important agenda, Gloucestershire County Council are pleased to announced the Parents‘ Relationships Matter Gloucestershire Conference for 2023. Delivered in partnership with Amity Relationship Solutions and Billson Consulting Ltd, the conference will take place from Monday 27th February to Thursday 2nd March 2023.

The focus of the conference is to explore the impact of parental relationship quality on children’s’ wellbeing and to provide training to support practitioners to work with parents on their relationship quality.

The virtual conference includes 12 sessions over the 4 days and aims to start a conversation about the importance of parental relationship quality for children’s wellbeing. If you work with Parents or Carers who have a parenting role with Children, this conference is for you! The Parents’ Relationship Matter Conference includes nationally renowned speakers on Parental Conflict and training delivered by experts in the field.
