Information about a range of free events and online resources is being shared with the VCSE sector across Gloucestershire during the run up to Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2024.

This years celebrations begin on Monday 18 March 2024 and we've got a round up of what you can expect below.

On Monday 18 March, Gloucestershire Neurodiversity Network is organising a free Neurodiversity Network Conference, from 9:30 am to 2 pm, at Churchdown Community Centre. The conference aims to bring together organisations and neurodivergent voices for an inclusive conversation about neurodiversity in leisure, arts and wellbeing. The day includes a number of talks, workshops and opportunities to connect with other participants.

Throughout the week there are a range of free online events that you can sign up to on the Neurodiversity Celebration Week website. From online Question & Answer sessions to workshops, there is likely something that will spark your interest. We've also spotted that if you can't attend one of the online events, a link to each event will be sent to those signed up post-event, so you can catch up at a later date.

What is Neurodiversity Celebration Week?

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by providing schools, universities, and organisations with the opportunity to recognise the many talents and advantages of being neurodivergent, while creating more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual.
