We know from conversations with members, how the reality of less money and more calls for support and help at this time of increasing social inequality, is leaving a toll on many of our member organisations. We have heard about people experiencing more stress and reduced well-being, at times exacerbated by new ways of working.

In response we have commissioned group coaching sets to give people a variety of tools, good questioning and reflective space to develop their personal resilience.  Each set will include a group of up to 6 people and will meet fortnightly for 2 hours over a course of two months (that is 4 sessions and 8 hours in total). Groups will stay together for the duration of the two months in order to develop mutual support which we hope will continue beyond the formal sessions.

Tools, reflection and coaching will focus on what is important to people but may well focus on themes such as:
  • What is stress? What is resilience? How do I become more resilience and support my teams to be more resilient?
  • How do I plan and manage my workload? How do I say No by saying Yes to something else?
  • How do I connect with my body and nervous system to enhance my wellbeing?
  • How do I acquire beliefs, paradigms and make relationships that make me and my team resilient?
The sets will be run by Anne Brinkhoff (www.annebrinkhoff.com) and Rose Mahon (www.mahoncoaching.co.uk)
Both are experienced leaders and managers and will be known to some of you. They are accredited coaches and passionate about supporting people to lead the lives they want to lead and help organisations to flourish.
