The Gloucestershire Alliance produces the Funding Opportunities Bulletin on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council.

The bulletin provides information on key funding opportunities available in Gloucestershire. This list is not exhaustive and is updated regularly. You can see the latest version here.

Rotary in Gloucester Community Awards

Purpose: Rotary in Gloucester Community Awards are organised by the four Rotary Clubs in the city – Gloucester, Rotary@Kingsholm, Gloucester Severn, and Gloucester Quays. The aim of the Community Awards programme is to support organisations within Gloucester city with a small grant which ‘will make a real difference’.  Priority will be given to projects from small groups/organisations that:

  • Offer value for money by involving a good number of beneficiaries and/or
  • Work with vulnerable or disadvantaged children or adults and/or
  • Work in a deprived Gloucester community

Who can apply: Registered charities, voluntary organisations and community groups whose work benefits local residents or communities in Gloucester City. The organisation does not necessarily have to be office based in the City.

Funding: The maximum award is £500.  No application will be considered too small.  Applications for salaries will not be considered.

Deadline: 5.00pm, 27 April 2017.

Peter Lang Children’s Trust

The Trust has a specific focus on early years and early interventions.  Its principal aim is to increase the number of babies and toddlers (from conception to 3 years of age) in Gloucestershire who experience loving, nurturing and harm-free childhoods.
