We’re delighted to announce that we are working in partnership with The Summerfield Charitable Trust to take forward a pioneering investment strategy which aims to improve the lives of thousands of people in the county. 

In a joint press release issued today, the Trust announced plans to change its funding approach and invest in “innovative, game-changing projects” which will leave a lasting legacy within local communities.

Don't forget to tune into our Go Volunteer Glos Manager, Emma Snell, on Friday 12 April on Cotswolds Radio.

Emma will be discussing the benefits of volunteering in the Cotswolds and will join the Cotswolds Women from 12 pm.

This year Volunteers' Week is celebrating 40 years and we're encouraging as many groups & organisations across the county to join us and Go Volunteer Glos to celebrate!

From Monday 3 June to Sunday 9 June, we'd like to celebrate the work of volunteers across the county and inspire more people to make a difference by volunteering.

GMCVO and Greater Manchester Poverty Action want to hear from groups/organisations that are working in a participatory way with people affected by the economic injustice of poverty.

They have been funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) to conduct an evidence review that collates and themes issues that are repeatedly deemed to be important to address by those directly affected.
